The BULLITT movie car has been mystery to many for a long time. in a resent years there has been many nice articles about original car. There were two Mustangs in this movie. One for regular driving and for jump scenes. Jump car is long gone, but the other Mustang is still in some barn in USA.

Because VIN - numbers of the original movie cars are known all information is available what factory installed to these cars. 20th Century Fox film company ordered some modifications from Max Balchowsky and all these modifications are documented.

• modifications in cylinder haeds
• modifications in ignition system
• modifications in carburator
• suspension parts manafluxed
• shock absorber mounting areas re-enforced
• Koni shock absorbers
• heavy-duty front springs
• Firestone GR70-15" F100 tires
• American Racing Torq-Trust D wheels with black spokes
• Secura steering wheel from Shelby Mustang, but black leather upholstery as McQueenin wished
• original mirror removed and replaced by other mirror which was painted in body color
• all Mustang trim parts remowed from body
• center of fuel cab was painted in body color
• rear light frames were painted in body color
• GT-model exhaust tips were removed
• for realism McQueen dented car here and there
