Restoration of ALFA ROMEO GIULIETTA SPIDER
Old cars have been my hobby and part of my life almost for 25 years. Everything started from this, a cabriolet my father made for me in the ’60s. My daily drivers have been e.g. '71 Opel Manta and '61 Ford Falcon and '89 Ford Thunderbird SC. Mostly I have been interested in technical and design features in the cars and almost every car I have owned so far have been an American car.

After owning ’62 Ford Galaxie 500 Sunliner for 13 years and having it inspected and approved in the Finnish “Historic Cars Register” (i.e. the car is presently in its original condition), I started to plan for a smaller car to restore. I started to look for a 2-seat roadster. Finally, there were only few models which were to my taste. From a Finnish car magazine I found a Dutch collector, who has about 450 sport cars in his greenhouses. We exchanged several emails and finally I flew to Holland to take a look at the cars.

After 4 years restoration this Alfa is now like new.
