| Giulietta was
produced 1955-1964. The type was first 750, but changed
the chassis type to 101 gradually during 1959. The
750-serie was named according to a prototype; the first
prototype had 750cc engine. The 750 type does not have
triangle shaped glasses on the doors, but the 101 has.
The 101 has also a slightly longer wheelbase. There are three
different bodies of Giulietta: Sprint (2D coupe), Spider
(cabriolet) and Berlina (4D sedan). Moreover, Giulietta
Sprint has two famous variations: Zagato SZ and Sprint
Speciale. The body of Spider is designed and
manufactured by Pinin Farina when the Sprint is made by
Bertone. All mechanics come from Alfa. Engine block and head are aluminium and
there are two overhead cams. There are two choices for
Sprint and Spider; Normale (750D), which has one Solex
carburator and 91 hp-SAE and Veloce (750F), which has two
Webers and 103hp-SAE. |
| In USA Giuletta
Spider cost almost same (about $3400) than Corvette in year '57. |

Red spider was probably
many boys dream in 50-talet.
